Guild
Guild Guitars started out life in 1952 when Alfred Dronge, a music shop owner, teamed up with George Mann, ex-Vice President of Epiphone. The first Guild guitar came off the production line in April of 1953.
Over the years the ownership of Guild has changed numerous times, with the current owners, Cordoba Music Group, purchasing the company from Fender in 2014.
Today Guild produce both acoustic and electric guitars, as well as base guitars, at various price points.
