Adobe Creative Cloud
Creative Cloud is a collection of desktop and mobile applications, as well as some cloud services, available on a subscription basis from Adobe, for use in graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis.
Adobe provides a number of different pricing plans, which can include some or all of the below applications.
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop can be used to enhance, manipulate and create digital images. It has its own native file format, Adobe Photoshop Document, or PSD for short, which is a raster based format, meaning that the images that the files contain are made up of lots of tiny dots. Raster based formats do not scale well due to a loss in quality.
PSD files can contain graphics with multiple layers and be exported to a number of other file formats, including JPG, PNG and GIF, making Photoshop useful for creating graphics for the web. As its name implies, Photoshop is also good at editing and enhancing photographs, with JPG files being their standard format.

Illustrator also has its own native file format, Adobe Illustrator or AI files, which can contain multi-layered graphics and be exported to other formats such as JPG, PNG and GIF.
