Introduction to Colour

Colour Wheel GradientColour is produced by light or light waves. Different colours are produced by the varying intensity of light. The stronger the light, the more intense the colour.

The human eye contains three different types of colour receptors, or cones, as they are also known, red, green and blue. All colours that the human eye can see are produced by the mixing of these colours and are known as the visible spectrum, or, human colour space.
